How strong is the candle’s scent?
We design our candles for a "room-filling" throw. We use high-quality oils so the scent stays strong from the first light to the very bottom without being overpowering.
What size is the candle?

How long will my candle or diffuser last?
Our standard 200g candles provide a clean, even burn for 40+ hours. Our reed diffusers are designed to scent your space for 3–4 months. We focus on high-quality wax and oils so you get the most fragrance for your money.
How does the subscription work?
It is dead simple. You choose your favourite scent, select how often you want it delivered (we recommend every 30-60 days), and get 15% off every order automatically .
What if I get the scent and I don’t like it?
That’s where our 'Love It or Swap It' Guarantee comes in. If the fragrance isn't quite right for your space, just email us at hello@kindredfires.com and we’ll swap it for a different scent, no questions asked.
How quickly will my order arrive?
We pride ourselves on speed. Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours during working days. Standard UK delivery usually takes 2-3 working days after dispatch.
Can I change my scent or cancel my subscription?
Yes, you have total control. You can swap your scent for a new one, skip a delivery, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account with one click, no hidden traps or "scammy" hurdles.
What kind of wax do you use and how long does it burn?
We use 100% natural soy wax because it provides a much cleaner, soot-free burn. Paraffin wax is petroleum-based and can create black smoke; soy wax is sustainable, natural, and allows the true fragrance to shine through.
Is their candle safety information I should be aware of?
All candles sold in the UK require the same safety information:
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from things that can catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Keep candles at least 10cm apart. Place candle upright. Keep wax pool clear of matches and debris. Do not burn in a draught. Trim wick to 5mm before relighting. Never burn for more than 4 hours. Stop using when 1/2 inch wax remaining.
